TURNER FISHERIES PUTS A CUSTOMIZED SPIN ON A SUNDAY TRADITION
Boston, MA (February 8, 2006) – Due to popular demand, Turner Fisheries, Boston’s premier seafood restaurant, will reintroduce its celebrated Sunday Brunch on February 26, 2006. With a variety of options, even the most frequent diner can enjoy the innovative culinary creations of acclaimed chef Christoph Leu every Sunday without ordering the same brunch items. Leu, who uses the finest ingredients and freshest local seafood possible, has successfully created a new brunch menu that balances seafood with breakfast and lunch dishes.
Chef Leu starts brunch by serving a glass of champagne, mimosa, bloody mary, or fresh orange juice. And since Sunday morning is not the time for big decisions, you can have it all with a vast selection of small bites, large bites, side bites and sweet bites. If you’re a seafood lover, start with the cold water oysters and a crab melt topped with spinach, tomato and Vermont cheddar. Continue with the lobster frittata with manchego cheese and arugula with a side Caesar salad. Craving a bit of vitamin C? Dive into one of pastry chef Andreas Horava’s cara cara and blood orange and kiwi salads or a meyer lemon crème brulée or customize a chocolate cake with a choice of fillings and frostings. Brunch-time purists will find comfort in kicked-up traditional offerings like the brioche French toast with orange marmalade and the grilled flat iron steak with truffle-scrambled eggs or gruyere cheese popovers.
“Brunch at Turner Fisheries has always been popular for both local residents and visitors to Boston,” says Chef Leu. “There has been a huge demand for it throughout the years, and now we have found a way to give guests a variety of options without the standard buffet. We’re thrilled that brunch is finally back and better than ever.”

Chef Christoph Leu’s Turner Fisheries is open for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday, and brunch on Sunday. The restaurant’s design scheme includes Terrazzo tile from Italy, floor to ceiling mahogany paneling, Hollywood banquettes and seven-foot high French Café bi-fold opening windows overlooking Copley Square.
