TURNER FISHERIES ENTICES SEAFOOD LOVERS WITH
NEW MENU ITEMS
Landmark restaurant introduces "Power"
Lunch Combos and Oyster& Wine Flights
BOSTON,
MA - February 9, 2004 - Turner Fisheries is pleased to introduce
some tempting, new dishes to its already extensive menu - "Power"
lunch combos and Oyster & Wine Flights.
The
Boston landmark restaurant's prime location in the middle of busy,
Copley Square prompted the culinary team at to create a menu designed
specifically for working people on the go who are conducting time
sensitive lunch meetings or who have limited time for a mid-day
meal. Turners came up with a selection of affordable "Power"
lunch combos that can be served in 45 minutes or less. These dishes
are also convenient for people attending meetings in the Westin
Copley Place Boston Hotel, where the restaurant is situated. Attendees
can grab a quick bite at Turners and easily make it back to their
functions without ever stepping foot outsid
The
"Power" lunch combos come in several varieties including:
Hall-of-Fame clam chowder with shrimp quesadilla, chowder with
jumbo blue crab cake, grilled sirloin and tsunami chopped salad,
"fish and chips" in a rice tempura batter, lobster salad
on brioche with french fries, grilled chicken piallard and Caesar
salad, "brick oven" crab melt with sauteed spinach and
Vermont cheddar cheese, and broiled Haddock, brocolini and lemon
confit. These items are guaranteed served in 45 minutes or less
or it is free.
Turner's
is also featuring Oyster & Wine Flights. Diners can order
a sampling of 6 different kinds of oysters from various areas
of the world depending on seasonal availability. Varieties include
oysters from Canada, France and the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans.
Turner's wine flights are 2-ounce samples of three different wines
-- Sauvignon Blanc, Groth, Napa 2002 Sauvignon Blanc Reserve,
Brancott, New Zealand 2002, and Albarino, Pazo San Mauro, Spain
2002. Together, oyster and wine flights make a perfect pairing
"At
Turner Fisheries we make sure to accommodate people's tastes and
needs as well as we can," explains Chef de Cuisine Eric Heinrich.
"We understood that people to have to eat quickly at lunch
and get back to work and we responded to that. We think people
are going to really be pleased."
